Shadows of the Soul

Shadows of the Soul explores emotional states through fictional characters who shift under the pressure of anger, sadness, and desire. Their bodies and surroundings move between the familiar and the unreal, making it difficult to know whether the scene belongs to ordinary life or to a private mythology. I use that uncertainty to examine how emotion can alter the way we see ourselves and others. The photographs are less about illustrating a feeling than about entering the moment when reality begins to change.
