Echoes of Departure began with the emotional weight of migration: what is carried, what is left behind, and what refuses to disappear. The photographs move through nostalgia, dislocation, and the quiet vulnerability of starting again. Rather than describe migration as a single event, the series considers departure as something that continues over time—through memory, distance, and the changing idea of home. The work is personal, but not closed; it leaves room for viewers to bring their own experiences of absence, belonging, and return.
